College Fair Visit

The college fair occurred from 9:30 to 1:30 at Cal State Dominguez Hills on September 27, 2014. I was one of the many students who had a chance to take advantage of this great opportunity offered to us. Many of the rumors and myths about college were answered. I'm sure most students left with much more knowledge about college.We had so many colleges from all over the world just at the tip of our fingers. 

Through this visit, I was able to speak to representatives from various different colleges. All of them were able to answer my questions. They also offered me flyers to inform me more about their colleges. 

It was definitely worth my time to drive the couple of miles to where I knew I would gain something positive. As a College Center Peer Counselor, I definitely advise the Carson Complex students that when opportunities like this come around, don't hesitate upon it but instead be wise and go! Visiting campuses and being well aware of the different colleges and choices you have is what helps us choose our college wisely. 

Events like this help us and give  us the right tools of becoming a successful scholar!
